My main purposes are to explain the basic meaning of the passages and challenge existing Christians. To accomplish this rather difficult end, there will often be a section for each.
The hills of Capernaum. The Gospels say that Jesus toured the region of Galilee (northern Israel) several times. Galilee is very hilly, and much of His itinerant ministry was probably spent trekking hills similar to, or steeper than, this one. In the spring, every hillside around the Sea of Galilee is covered with these pretty yellow flowers.I'll add pictures from my trip to Israel and from bibleplaces.com to many of the blog entries, in order to make the passage come alive.
